The Yellow Room

Our yellow room has a partially shaded deck. Guests love to watch the emerald green parrots as they perch in the mango tree between this room and the lavender room.

“I would not want to stay anywhere else in Tobago. The town of Castara is very small. Considering many of the other towns of Tobago are much larger, this is a town that you quickly learn everyone’s name and they learn yours. The first thing about the Boatview Apartments is that they are the perfect size for couples. A small kitchen, bed, and restroom. You don’t need much else. The water is not heated for the shower, but really, in the humidity and heat, who cares? Cooling down and then sitting on the balcony is the way to go. The balcony overlooks the bay. It is a stunning little bay. The spacious deck has tropical birds and hummingbirds that visit all day long. It is an easy walk to the bay and to the restaurant called the Boat House.”

“So long Yellow Room @ Boatview Apartments, it was an awesome trip especially our last day which included multiple stingrays in the bay, a hummingbird flying into our room, a gecko in our wardrobe, a huge leaf-shaped praying mantis on our mosquito net & a large leafcutter ant 🐜 on the loo roll! It was a natural history gift that kept on giving. Even the local dogs were adorable and provided endless entertainment as they established their hierarchy on the beach. Finally and last but not least, Sharon was the perfect host/chef/welcoming face of Heavenly Bay.”
